- Volunteer Comments
From John Rosen from USA, Sigor School
"I had a wonderful time at Sigor. Clearly, the value of MondoChallenge lies in providing a foundation for an indelible experience - for the volunteer and the student alike - which may not necessarily change one's life ambitions, yet will certainly alter one's life in a profound form. I'm not sure if I'm yet to realize just how this experience has affected me. The impact will likely remain ineffable for quite some time. But I know that the impact is there."
Tianna Sheer and Scott Braunagel from USA, Kapkesosio School
"Our trip overall was fantastic! We loved teaching, living with the family and then also having an opportunity to go travelling. Since we were the first volunteers in Kapkesosio School, we knew there would be some unexpected things and now we can all just learn from them. The trip for the school to the Maasai Mara was wonderful. It really gave the kids and school a positive goal and status in the community. Our school was very appreciative!"
From Robert Keays from USA, Sigor School
"What I found most valuable about this MondoChallenge programme was learning about a different place and it's people. Spending time in an area vastly different from home, accepting that difference whilst also trying to make the most of what is available. Being around people who are happy with very little and enjoy their lives."
